About Calendar

The Calendar tool allows you to arrange and visualize your course events in multiple views and enables integration of course content and your Calendar.

Below is a preview of commonly used features and functions of the Calendar tool. For a complete detailed description of the features and functions, see the Desire2Learn Help. (Click Learning Environment > Calendar)

Accessing the Calendar
To access your Calendar, from the My Home Navigation, click Calendar. At any time you may click Help for specific details about Calendar. Image of navigation for my home on the discussions page
Inside the Calendar, you will see Calendar Management (A), Calendar Views (B), Calendar Content (C), and the Task Pane (D). Calendar layout
Calendar Management
The Calendar Management area contains tools for customizing how calendar content appears. You can change the color scheme of individual courses, toggle calendars to display the courses you want to focus on, and view individual course schedules. Calendar management area
Calendar Views
The Calendar Views enable you to toggle between different display layouts for events in the calendar content area. Calendar view area
Calendar Content
The Calendar Content area shows the calendar events in the specified view that the user prefers. Calendar content area
