Course Description
ELE 505 emphasizes the foundation of ESL/bilingual education and factors that contribute to an effective multicultural and multilingual learning environment.Course Prerequisites
Admission to Teacher Education requires a 2.5 GPA. You must be either admitted as an undergraduate (Overlap student) OR as a graduate student to enroll in this class. If you are not seeking a master's degree, you need to do the following: You will need to apply for admission to the Graduate School asAll students seeking ESL or Bilingual certification must also complete the application process for the ESL or Bilingual classes. This paperwork is located in the Elementary Education office. ELE 505 Foundations of ESL/Bilingual is the first class that you should take when you are seeking ESL or Bilingual certification.
- POST BACCALAUREATE SEEKING CERTIFICATION BUT NO GRADUATE DEGREE. SPECIFY ELE.*
- You will need an official or unofficial transcript showing completion of degree from accredited university.
