Course Description
This course will equip interpreters to plan, prepare, and submit NPS Module 340 (Interpretive Research). Course content focuses on: advanced knowledge of the resource advanced knowledge of the audience including audience research methods and sampling techniques the ability to connect resource meanings to multiple audience interests and perspectives and the preparation of an interpretive research proposal.

Course Format and Participation Requirements
Students must participate in all assigned internet activities including use of email, discussion boards, and chat groups, posting assignments to the Web, and peer review of assignments. Students must complete assigned readings, view assigned videotapes and presentations, and communicate via telephone as required.

Technical Requirements for the Course
Students must meet minimum technical requirements for the course.

Before the Course Begins
