Distance Education Course Offerings
Below are the two types of distance education courses offered at SFA.
- Web-based - 100% of the instruction is delivered via the Internet and may include Web pages, e-mail, chat rooms, streaming video, discussion boards, etc. Students with access to the Internet may participate at any time of day from anywhere in the world. SFA uses WebCT to develop and deliver web-courses.
- Hybrid - A course that is a blend of online and face-to-face instruction in which at least 50% of the instruction is delivered online, or a course that has not been approved as a fully developed Web-based course.
